Isha Fest: A Celebration of Enlightenment

You are invited to the annual Isha Fest: A Celebration of Enlightenment on Saturday, September 22, 2012.

Isha Fest is celebrated each year around September 23rd in tandem with the International Day of Peace and focuses on spiritual heritage that transcends cultural differences and offers tremendous possibilities for anyone willing to experience the unity and interconnectedness of life.

The date commemorates Sadhguru’s Enlightenment on September 23, 1982. This year, which also marks Isha’s 30th year of raising human consciousness, Isha Fest 2012 features an exuberant, multi-cultural celebration including performances in Indian classical dance, Chinese dance, theatrical miming, fire spinning, and of course Isha’s own musical group, local favorites Sounds of Isha.

All guests over the age of 11 are invited to attend a meditation session that introduces Isha Kriya, a simple but powerful 15-minute meditation that you can do at home. Daily practice of Isha Kriya brings increased clarity, awareness, energy, and a heightened sense of peacefulness and joy.

Isha Fest is a Free Event and Open to All. We invite everyone from the community and surrounding areas to experience this unique space and celebrate unlimited human potential.
