Motor City is gearing up for Sadhguru’s visit next month! Isha volunteers have been hosting Utsav celebrations across the Detroit area. Isha Utsavs are conducted in various regions of the city to create awareness towards Isha and the upcoming Mega Inner Engineering program with Sadhguru. Events in Plymouth, Howell, Troy, Windsor and Royal Oak each drew many new guests along with Isha meditators and volunteers, who enjoyed music and dance performances, skits, Isha Kriya meditation, and meals together. The volunteers have been working wonderfully to make each event happen.
Shares one volunteer, “Everyone is definitely enjoying the events, and we have seen a lot of people have been passing the message along to encourage their friends and family to come to each of the following Utsavs.” Several more Utsavs are scheduled in and around the Detroit area over the next few weeks leading up to Sadhguru’s arrival, so if you know anyone in the area, please let them know about the opportunity for a day of fun with family and new friends!

“I thank you for the invitation, the place was perfect for the event, being surrounded by nature. It was very well organized and most interesting. This was my first time at attending a gathering like this, and I really wanted to learn a little bit by being there, rather than just to read about it.
I found the whole experience relaxing, refreshing and surprisingly easy to understand. Nowhere near as mystical as I imagined it to be. Its teaching is down to earth, and easy to follow. Most interesting to me that it is not tied to any religion, which is the best in my opinion.
It takes discipline and will power though to be serious about devoting the time to it, to detach ourselves from our busy lives even just for a little while. I'm sure it has a tremendous merit of bringing peace to our minds and well being.
The food and refreshment was delicious, the atmosphere friendly, the singing and instruments
interesting and relaxing. I enjoyed being there.”
“I'm a person that tends to think a lot of what is offered is with a catch. I had a wonderful time at Utsav. Every person I met there, even the fellow interested individuals, were willing to have conversation and share their experience. I loved the level of information that was provided to give me a good working knowledge of what I was involved in for that afternoon. I recommend anyone who wants development as an individual take a couple hours out of your day to meet some wonderful people and have a unique experience with meditation that is guided well.” – Kaira Serdoner
