Nestled on a breathtaking mountain top in the beautiful Cumberland Plateau of Tennessee, Isha Institute of Inner-sciences (iii) is established as an infrastructure for raising human consciousness and fostering global harmony through individual transformation.
Founded and guided by Sadhguru – a yogi, profound mystic, and humanitarian – Isha Institute of Inner-sciences has been established as an essential resource for seekers wishing to explore the ancient science of yoga in all its depth and dimensions for many generations to come.
The Institute offers a variety of programs that provide methods for anyone to attain physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing. It is a unique space created for human beings to deepen their experience of life, and to reach their ultimate potential.
Two powerful meditation spaces are the main features for most visitors to the Isha Institute.
Mahima, which means grace, is an awe-inspiring 39,000 sq ft domed meditation hall and home to many of the programs offered at the Institute.
The Adi Yogi: Abode of Yoga, is a powerfully energized space that anyone can make use of towards his or her wellbeing. This meditative space is established as a tribute to the Adi Yogi, the world’s first yogi, who offered the yogic sciences to the world over 15,000 years ago. A visually striking 30,000 sq ft space, the Abode is a two-level structure housing a 21-foot statue depicting the Adi Yogi alongside an energized copper form (linga). Open year-round from 8 AM – 8 PM, visitors of the Abode may benefit from the supportive energy of the space through simple processes, making contact with the energy form, and sitting silently in the powerful and serene space.
Isha Institute of Inner-sciences is open 365 days a year and welcomes visitors from all walks of life.
