Aiyanthi and Jhnavi live in Toronto. Aiyanthi is four years old, and Jhnavi is three. On Mother’s Day, Aiyanthi brought home a gift for her mother from school, a sapling. From this, the girls came up with an idea for a lemonade stand to raise money to plant more saplings through Isha’s Project GreenHands.
Local Isha volunteers came together to help the girls make their first fundraiser happen in a big way. The creative ideas from the volunteers were a huge support, while Aiyanthi and Jhnavi drew pictures, colored, and helped make the lemonade.
Those who attended the Toronto Sathsang today were amazed to see the sisters’ efforts and contribution for this great cause: the lemonade stand raised enough money to plant 160 new saplings! The feedback from everyone was very positive, and of course the lemonade was delicious and a huge hit.
Both sisters had a blast with so much energy and enthusiasm. Aiyanthi and Jhnavi wanted to say "thank you" for all the people who supported them for their first project.

Thanks for Sharing. The Kids from toronto not only have helped plant the samplings. They have planted the seed in the minds of other people to plant more samplings. I am sure atleast some of those seeds planted in the peoples mind will grow and yelid not just fruits…but a whole forest.
