Volunteering &
Donations
There are many opportunities
to contribute to the new center. Meditators can participate in
daily administrative work and chores at the main residence, Kyvalya
Hut, as well as participate in various volunteer construction projects.
There are also opportunities to get involved in volunteering at Isha
Institute programs and events. (See the Programs & Events
page for upcoming dates.)
The Isha Institute of Inner Sciences
also accepts financial donations, or donations of goods and
services. Contributors can make one-time donations or ongoing
donations including contributions to the MAHIMA Fund for the new program hall or the “Every Brick Counts” montlhy debit donation.
However you wish to get involved, you can contact the main office for
information at 931-668-1900 or, iiis@ishafoundation.org.
Volunteer Construction
Projects…
Those with special skills
related to construction will be very helpful
in the continuing development of the program complex.
Those with specific experience
in the following will be very helpful in the next few months:
-Finishing
Carpentry
-Painting &
Staining
-Landscaping
-Supplies
Inventory
All those planning on participating
are asked to please contact the main office at 931-668-1900 or, iiis@ishafoundation.org and specify whether you have specific
skills to offer. Taking a few extra days off at either end of
a weekend or for a full week is very helpful in keeping projects moving
forward quickly.
Those who are unable to come
to the site can offer help in other ways, either by loaning a car or
van for carpooling, or lending/doning equipment, tools, or supplies.
Please contact your regional coordinator below to assist with the arrangement
of carpools and the transport of equipment and supplies
to the site as needed.
