  • Sadhguru blessed the Isha Institute of Inner-sciences (iii) with the consecration of a new shrine, situated in the Poplar building. (Summer 2010)
  • 16 additional cottages are near completion offering private accommodations either for those wishing to secure these for lifetime usage or for short-term rental. (cost to date: $340,000)
  • A fully functional 3200 sq. ft. state-of-the-art commercial kitchen was completed in time for our first US Samyama in May 2010! Appliances include a Chinese wok, gas ranges, 40-gallon kettle boiler, wet grinder, fryer, double deck industrial convection oven, dry storage and an automated dishwashing station. (cost to date: $700,000)
  • Dining Hall phase I provided us a beautiful curved roofed pavilion of massive wooden beams supported on concrete pillars.  A cobblestone and grass area welcomes you at the west entrance. (cost to date: $380,000)
  • Separate men’s and women’s restrooms were constructed as part of the program complex.  (cost to date: $125,000)
  • The new Cedar Building houses a smaller program/Sadhana hall, a conference room and laundry facility adjacent to the lodges. (cost to date: $70,000)
  • Isha Lane, about one mile long, has been upgraded providing a very comfortable and smooth drive to the center. (cost to date: $22,000)

2009

  • Isha Village Home Owners Association was chartered in May
  • 2000 sq. ft. pole barn erected in May to store construction equipment and program materials.
  • Greenhouse started in June which allows for iii to have fresh flowers available year round.
  • November 2 the long-awaited ground breaking of our commercial kitchen happened.
  
2008

  • Mahima site work commenced in April.
  • Mahima groundbreaking and cornerstone consecration happened in April.
  • Mahima Phase I begins.
  • Isha Village access road and 10 lots demarcated in April.
  • Construction of the second studio building began in September.
  • Completion of Mahima Phase I and the consecration of this sacred space occured in November.
  • Isha conveyed titles to Isha Village lot owners in December.

 2007

  • Construction of storage building was started in March.
  • In the Spring, two lodges were completed allowing for additional office space.
  • Sadhana Hall was established in March.
  • The last of the two lodges completed in the Summer and Isha Lane access road was established.
  • Evaluation and clearing of the current location of Mahima was conducted in the Summer.
  • The lodge pond was dug in August.
  • Isha Village lots were surveyed in September.
  • The first of two private studio buildings erected with 6 units per building in June.
  • October welcomed in the lake, created to host 100,000 tadpoles provided by Mother Nature.

 2006

  • First program offered in Kyvalya in January.
  • Small storage shed donated to house tools.
  • The first resident moved in by March.
  • March was also the time a vegetable garden was planted to feed the visiting volunteers.
  • Early Spring began with clearing of land and building roads to allow for the iii campus to develop. Much care has been taken to preserve as much plant and wildlife as possible.
  • The Isha Institute of Inner-sciences groundbreaking ceremony took place.
  • Utilities were run in May and construction of four lodges began. .
  • Clearing of the activity field took place in early June.
  • The Inauguration of Isha Institute of Inner-sciences happened June 21 and the first BSP June 22.
  • In the winter, Kyvalya Hut was moved to its current location next to the lodges and became an active administrative office.

  • In May 2005, Isha USA purchased 1200 acres of land in the Cumberland Plateau of Tennessee.
  • US Center Development Retreat was held in Ohio in September.
  • Kyvalya Hut was place on site in October.
