Project GreenHands
is an environmental revolution; a full hearted, full throttle attempt to raise the green cover of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, an area the size of Louisiana which supports a population of over 62 million people. That's nearly two times the population of the entire state of California!
Over 7.1 million trees have already been planted by over a million people in 3 years to counteract the worsening effects of climate change, to reduce soil erosion, stabilize water tables and significantly reduce the suffering caused by poverty and wide scale malnutrition.
