A Recipe for an Unforgettable Night of Theatre

On 28th July, IHS Students, Staff and Ashram residents came together for a fun-filled night of theatre. The junior students performed a rendition of the Pied Piper of Hamelin, the middle school students performed a Tamil drama entitled Kandaen Seethaiyai, and the senior students performed an adaptation of Shakespeare’s play As You Like It. The performances were a culmination of a 5-Day workshop with eminent children’s theatre artist Dr Velu Saravanan.

It is a portal for people to find out all about Inner Engineering, but more importantly, people can register to attend an Inner Engineering Course online, directly from their homes or offices.

100th Anniversary of Guru Pooja Festival in Tamil Nadu Village

This year’s 100th anniversary of the Guru Pooja and annadhanam festival was carried out with grandeur. For three days, the robust people cooked and served all the sadhus and sanyasis who came with utmost love and devotion, as though they were serving their Guru. From the Isha Yoga Center, 24 brahmacharis, 22 residents and Isha Samskriti children had gone to participate in the event.

Theertakund opening at Indira Gandhi International Airport

This is also the first time that a Theerthakund will be consecrated outside the ashram. The copper lined Theerthakund will contain a consecrated linga submerged in 5 inches of water. People will be able to walk in this kund which will have pebbled surface designed to activate the nadis or energy channels.
