Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev will address the 21st India Economic Summit, to be held in New Delhi from 27 to 29 November. Jointly hosted by the World Economic Forum (WEF) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the Summit will bring together over 600 participants from more than 400 companies and organizations, from 33 countries, to address and assess the unique growth experience of India under the theme: A Young and Resurgent India: Its Impact on Regional and Global Strategies.

Although India is currently acknowledged worldwide for its prowess in information technology and BPOs, Sadhguru’s address, titled Inner Engineering: Mastering your Destiny, will dwell on the inner technologies of ancient India – the science of yoga.

A self-realized yogi and profound mystic of our times, Sadhguru is acclaimed for his exceptional perception of modern life in all its complexities, and insightful solutions to prosperity and well-being for all. In this interactive session participants will have the opportunity to explore approaches and methods that will allow them to examine various aspects of life from an inner perspective. They will be introduced to simple processes of Inner Engineering that can be employed to unravel the complexity of external situations using the wisdom of the internal.

Sadhguru is also an invited speaker at the Annual Meet of the World Economic Forum at Davos, Switzerland, during 25-29 January, 2006.

Stating that in this nation, like no other generation before us, the leadership has the opportunity to leap-forward a large mass of humanity into prosperity and well-being, Sadhguru adds that it is time to shift our focus from past glories to future possibilities.

The Summit will be inaugurated by Mr. P. Chidambaram and co-chaired by Jim Goodnight, Chief Executive Officer, SAS, USA; Hans-Joachim Koerber, Chief Executive Officer, Metro, Germany; Nandan M. Nilekani, President, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Infosys Technologies, India; and Sir Martin Sorrell, Group Chief Executive, WPP, United Kingdom.

Dr. Manmohan Singh, Prime Minister of India, will address the closing session of the annual event and also award the first ever Indian Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award, instituted by the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship, recognizing outstanding contribution to the field of social development.
