Each September the Isha Yoga Center celebrates Isha Fest, a tribute to Sadhguru's enlightenment and International Day of Peace.
Isha Fest’s annual theme changes every year to recognize the contributions and the varied colors of different cultures from around the world, honoring each region's culture through music, dance, arts and crafts, and cuisine. Isha meditators connected with that specific region coordinate the year's festival. Featured regions have included Africa, North America, and the Indian states of Kerala, Rajasthan, and more recently Maharashtra.
Cultural programs bring renowned performers from all over India and the world to present native, traditional and modern songs and dance. Refreshment stalls offer delightful Indian and Western food, beverages and sweets, whilst arts and crafts stalls display everything from Isha Craft products such as handbags and clothing, to artwork and fine furniture.
An evening concert dedicated to World Peace, by renowned artists is always a feature. Geeta Chandran, Pandit Tejendra Narayan Majumdar, TV Sankaranarayanan, Pts Rajan and Sajan Misra, Ustad Sayeeduddin Dagar and Indian Ocean are some of the artists who have performed at Isha Fest.
