Sanyas
Disciples of Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev who are willing to commit themselves totally to the yogic way of renunciation, may become candidates for brahmacharya. Brahman means the divine, charya is the path; brahmacharis tread the path of the divine. Commitment to this order of monks is taken very seriously, and once a brahmachari, candidates are given a further seven to ten year grace period before their final initiation into sanyas. In a beautiful blend of discipline, freedom and dedication, daily spiritual practices are mingled with a range of activities within the Isha Foundation's various projects and operations. Over one hundred highly educated and talented young men and women live and work at the Isha Yoga Center in India, finding an inner source of joy and fulfillment on the path of the divine.
